- I'm upgrading my machine, and would like to know which files are
- hardware specific and need to be changed..
-
- Changes:
-
- Motherboard: 386DX/16 to 486/33
- Video: Paradise Professional SVGA to Tseng ET4000 local bus.
-
- I'm keeping the same harddrive, so that doesn't need changing.
- Actually, nothing else is changing besides the motherboard and
- video.
-
- I know that I need to create a new SVGADATA.PMI file, but am unsure of
- any other changes. I also probably need to get the VSVGA patch, since
- my ET4000 chip is batch TC6100AF. (according to the bug list found on
- ftp-os2, it says to get the patch if the batch number is later than
- TC6059AF)
