- I'm having some trouble with my new installation of OSI/2. My setup is as
- follows:
-
-
- Hardware:
-
- 486/33DX ISA CLONE
- 8 MB DRAM
- 256KB CACHE
- Adaptec AH1542B SCSI Bus Mastering Adapter w/ New Roms
- Seagate ST41600N 1.3GB SCSI HDD
- Quantum PD210S 200 MB SCSI HDD
- Archive 2150S Viper250MB QIC150 Tape Drive
- Clone ET4000 + 1MB SVGA Adapter
-
- Drivers:
-
-
- Latest OS/2 Drivers (betas) from Adaptec (13 Aug 92).
- Patches all in for OS/2 including:
- OS2KRNL
- BVHSVGA
- All SVGA/VGA related Stuff
- 800x600 256 color Orchid Drivers from Hobbes (PROII8.ZOO).
-
-
- Problem:
-
- When I have a DOS window open, together with some OS/2 System setup
- windows open, the system hangs after a while , I was changing the color of a
- window. The mouse is still okay but I cannot do anything or activate any
- menus.
-
- The only way out is (apparently) CTL-ALT-DEL.
-
- Any assitance will be *greatly* appreciated.
-
- P.S. How do I change the color of the DOS window foreground? Using the Orchid
- Drivers made the font a nearly invisible light grey.
