- I've been gone for the summer, so I was wondering if anyone ever came
- up with a fix for the problems with the Tseng et3000 based video adapters.
-
- I'm not talking about all the little tricks with the DOS session settings.
- I've already tried all of those, with limited success. My DOS sessions
- are usable, but they still crash if I do something they don't like (like
- switching back from graphics mode to text mode).
-
- I also want to know if there's anything that will get rid of the line
- of trash at the top of my screen. It doesn't affect usability, but
- it really looks bad, and gets pretty annoying after a while.
-
- So, were these problems ever fixed? Will they ever be fixed, or should
- I buy a new VGA board? Are there any recommendations for a good, fast,
- and cheap (< $100) VGA board that will work well with OS/2?
-
- Thanks.
