- I'm not sure this is the problem. You didn't mention which PS cart you have. I
- have a HP LaserJet IIP with a Pacific Page V3.2 Postscript cartridge. The HP
- LaserJet Postscript driver will send a command in the Postscript file which
- tells the printer to set the paper tray. The Pac Page cart in the version I
- have doesn't support it. I've seen conflicting reports whether their v4.0 does
- for the IIP. Their latest version doesn't support the IIP as I tried to upgrade
- and they said it didn't do IIP's.
-
- I did install the generic Postscript driver instead of the HP LaserJet IIP
- Postscript driver and this improves the chance of success, though I still can't
- get a few DOS programs like Avery LabelPro to print (gives me an imagemask
- error).
-
- A Postscript error handler program is handy to have around just to see what is
- happening when your printer is just sitting there blinking at you :).
