- I have a new strange one. It appears that certain DOS programs and perhaps
- Brief for OS/2 are screwing up my printer drivers in some way. Here's what
- happens: If I click left mouse button on a printer object, then select
- "set default" I get a list of my printer drivers with a check mark next to
- one of them. If I then run Automap, or a few other DOS programs and repeat
- the above sequence, some of the driver names now contain garbage, or they
- just disappear. In other cases, clicking the left mouse button on a printer
- object yields nothing. I must open the object and select it from the upper
- left icon to perform the same function as I would be clicking the left
- mouse button on the printer object icon.
-
- I'm using an IBM Laserprinter 6 (4029). Their drivers have been known to be
- flakey too.
-
- Has anyone else experienced this ?
