  11. I've been running OS/2 2.0 pretty solidly for the last few months.  Just last
  12. week I upgraded from a regular 16-bit SCSI controller to the bust mastering
  13. Adaptec 1542b.  Now I ramdomly get Trap 00000e's or the screen just goes
  14. totally out of sync and OS/2 locks tight (no ctl-alt-del, or esc-alt, etc).

  16. My configuration which has been pretty solid until the Adaptec:

  18. 386/40, 8meg RAM, NEC 660meg SCSI, Diamond Speedstar Hicolor, AMI bios,
  19. PAS-16 sound card...

  21. The Adaptec ROM is dated v3.1 1988.  Is this the last rev??  I'm using the
  22. latest aha154x.add from hobbes, the latest orchid svga drivers from hobbes,
  23. all the kernel, comm, vga, and floppy patches as well.

  25. I've left the Adaptec at its default settings and made sure I had no IRQ and
  26. DMA conflicts with the PAS-16.  Adding the new card was a breeze, but OS/2
  27. doesn't seem quite as stable anymore.  Any info would be greatly appreciated!
