  18. This is becomming a FAQ.  The "June CSD" was a misinterpretation of
  19. information.  IBM scheduled the release of "Ultimedia PM extensions"
  20. for June 30.  It was released ON TIME.  Some people picked up on this
  21. release date and assumed it was a CSD.  I've spoken to IBM twice on
  22. the subject.  Both times, IBM indicated to me that Windows 3.1 was the
  23. primary focus of the next rev of OS/2, but refused any other information.

  25. When asked for the release date, both of them indicated "in the fall",
  26. when proded, they both said "Late August, Early September".  I'm assuming
  27. we will all hear something REAL in September some time.  As with all
  28. net.info, your milage may vary.

  30. People whining about the lack of "June CSD" aren't living in the real
  31. world.  Net rumors aren't facts, if you want facts, call the source.
