- [from IBM]
-
- The OS/2 2.0 Redbooks are available from IBM's TeleServices customer support
- number. The number is 1-800-7654-IBM (1-800-765-4426). You can pay by credit
- card or mail in a check after calling. The order will take about 2 weeks but
- can be sped up by paying for faster shipping.
-
- The four volumes that are available now are:
-
- Part # Volume Description Price
- --------- ------ ----------- -----
- GG24-3730 1 Control Program $4.15
- GG24-3731 2 DOS & Windows Environment $6.20
- GG24-3732 3 Presentation Manager & Workplace Shell $3.65
- GG24-3774 4 Applications Development $6.85
-
- The fifth volume went to Last Draft on 7/29 and is expected to be available
- within 2 - 3 weeks. I suggest calling TeleServices on September 1 and then
- once a week until it shows up on their list.
-
- GG24-3775 5 Print Subsystem $ ?
-
- The 4 volumes are available as a set now. When Volume 5 ships, it will be
- added to the set and the price will increase accordingly. If you buy the set
- now, you'll have to manually order Volume 5 when available.
-
- GB0F-2254 Technical Compendium $20.85
-
- This method will be much faster and easier for you to get these books than
- to request them from us. The price is more than reasonable since they're
- being sold at their printing cost.
-
- IBM is investigating a number of other ways to get this information into the
- hands of developers, so watch for some announcments soon.
