- I'm having some trouble installing OS/2 on a clone machine.
-
- I installed perfectly on the machine with 4MB and using FAT. Now after
- upgrading to 8MB RAM, and reformating C to HPFS, I'm getting CRC failures at
- diskette 10 during install. I recall some time ago seeing some other messages
- on this but didn't
-
- System configuration:
-
- 386/40, 8 MB, 213MB Maxtor IDE drive, AMI BIOS (-8 keyboard version).
-
- The outdated keyboard BIOS might be the problem, but then again might
- not. Anyone remember the causes of these problems?
-
- Thanks.
