- Hi there.
-
- I've picked up three different Adaptec 1542 drivers for
- OS/2 2.0. Does anyone know if I have the latest, or which
- one I should be using?
-
- The Three I have are:-
-
- Size Date Notes
- ==== ==== =====
-
- AHA154X.ADD 16010 29 May 92 One I'm Using
- AHA154X.ADD 15958 30 March 92 Version supplied with OS/2
- AHA154X.ADD 15962 10 June 92 ?????
-
- I think I got the two later versions from comp.binaries.os2.
- (But I might have got them from an IBM BBS.)
-
- I would go with the later one, but the one I'm using _seems_ to
- work OK, (ie I haven't had any problems yet) so what was the change?
-
- Thanks
-
- Paul
-
- PS I've seen posts about the 'new' kernel. Some people seem to
- think it should only be used if you are suffering from problems
- with the old one, while others think it should be used by everyone.
- Does anyone know the 'official' story?
