- Something similar (I don't remember exactly) happened to me.
- I created a program object for MAHJONGG.EXE (PM app') from ftp-os2
- using a template. When I tried to start MahJongg, the WPS
- and/or the program object was fouled up. This included the object
- being undeletable. I tried a great variety of actions on it,
- including changing it's settings, moving it to a FAT drive
- and destroying the EAs there altogether, but that object was immortal.
- Well, nearly. Finally I succeded by:
-
- 1. Moving it onto A:\ by:
-
- a) Selecting it
-
- b) Selecting Move... from it's menu
-
- c) Selecting the Path (not drive) tab
-
- d) Entering A:\ (or just A: -- I can't remember)
-
- 2. Moving it to a subdirectory on A: the same way as above
-
- 3. Deleting that directory (I don't remember which way)
-
- Then it was gone which I verified by a Search.
- I think I also reformatted the disk and verified
- that there weren't any EAs left.
-
- I hope this helps.
-
- Maybe this is another item for the FAQ/a separate "problem FAQ"!
-
- Best wishes,
-
