- I am thinking of buying a new system and running os2. My programming background
- is with sun unix workstations, so I am used to 32bit code and a flat memory
- model. Now I am no Hardware or software expert but I want to write C/C++
- programs on my new system -- I don't care about DOS/WINDOWS compatibility and I
- want to avoid segmented memory models in my programs. (Which I assume os2 allows.
- Right?)
-
- Can someone recommend a good compiler for os2? And perhaps an assembler too. I
- want something that really utilizes the advanced (?) features of os2 over DOS
- type programs.
-
- Are there any good graphical libraries out there? I am used to Xwindows, so I am
- looking for libraries that offer similar types of objects, such as buttons,
- sliders, canvas's, etc. I want something to help me flesh out GUIs *fast*!
-
- Thanks in advance!
