- I have an icon on my desktop that I can not get rid of. Here is how I
- created it.
-
- I dragged a new program out of the template folder onto the desktop.
- I Set it as a dos window and in the settings, put D:\ (a dos boot drive)
- into the Dos image to boot section [granted, I was experimenting/playing a
- bit]. I filled nothing in in the program to run section on the first
- settings page. I closed the settings, and everything looked ok. I ran the
- program (double clicked the icon), the WPS restarted itself.
-
- So I decided that I'd had enough messing around for one night and decided
- to delete the icon. NOT! It has no delete entry in its pop up menu. I can't
- delete it via the window list, the details view of the WPS, the DEL key,
- nothing. I tried moving it to different places, changing many settings (The
- D:\ in the settings is long gone) and I can not delete it.
-
- Anybody know what I have done, and how to undo it. I definitely do not feel
- like recereating os2.ini, I have just reinstalled OS/2 (converted my boot
- drive from FAT to HPFS) and don't feel like setting up my desktop again.
-
- Any suggestions?
