- Being a new user to OS/2, I have noticed that all applications
- do not make uniform use of the menu options like the Mac. What
- I mean is that for the most part, a standard set of alt-key,
- control-key functions have the same functions in many programs.
- Is there such an effort being conducted by IBM to introduce a
- similar set of programming guidelines?
-
- The reason I bring this up is that the PM Terminal program doesn't
- seem to be able to accept text copied from another application.
- Ideally, what I was trying to do was compose text in the enhanced
- editor, copy it, and then "paste" it into my active terminal session.
- This is quite easily achieved by even a novice on my Mac at work so
- I was wondering how I can do it under OS/2 at home.
-
- Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Best regards,
-
- Chris
