- I don't think the past is going to indicate the future. The reason IBM had
- to use the "Proof of License" card bit was that they didn't have in their
- database a list of pre v1.3 users. So they decided to make everyone send
- in their Proof of License card. From talking with people, this mistake
- probably won't be repeated.
