- The rule of thumb imparted to me by people I know who have used or serviced
- *thousands* of PC's is:

- DON'T mix RAM speeds.

- If possible, get RAM made by one manufactuer.

- This *reduces* the problem that can arise. It is another variable in the
- design soup that modern clones are.

- I couldn't boot OS/2 on the 486/25 at work until I changed from 4x80ns and
- 4x70ns to 8x80ns simms. After that? No problem.
