  11. I boot a DOS 5.0 image from C: to access a LAN.  Since I cant
  12. write to C: in the VDM (fsfilter messes the client programs, so I
  13. dont use it), I use the a: drive to transfer data from the HPFS
  14. drive (from other DOS or OS/2 windows) to the LAN.  C is FAT and
  15. D is HPFS.

  17. Curiously, the VDM can't see the new file and the dir statistics
  18. are not correct.  If I exitd the VDM and restart it, it seems to
  19. be ok.

  27. The reason I can't use fsfilter.sys is because I get messages saying
  28. "Bad PROTMAN.DOS" and the like.
