- Thanks to all who responded to my query about fortran under os2. Apparently
- most like watcom. Some suggested using an f2c converter then compiling with
- a public domain c compiler. Since my advisor is a die hard fortranner I doubt
- he would go in for that. I also have a few more questions. Forgive me if these
- are FAQs (perhaps somenone could direct me towards a FAQ list).
-
- 1. Since the only reason we might consider getting os2 would be for the fortran,
- I assume it's possible to partition my hd into dos and os2 sections?
-
- 2. If one is possible, can os2 run applications located on the dos partition?
-
- 3. Since we have a registered copy of win 3.1, are we eligible for a special
- upgrade price to os2?
-
- again, thanks
