  13. Thanks to all who responded to my query about fortran under os2.  Apparently
  14. most like watcom.  Some suggested using an f2c converter then compiling with
  15. a public domain c compiler.  Since my advisor is a die hard fortranner I doubt
  16. he would go in for that.  I also have a few more questions.  Forgive me if these
  17. are FAQs (perhaps somenone could direct me towards a FAQ list).

  19. 1. Since the only reason we might consider getting os2 would be for the fortran,
  20. I assume it's possible to partition my hd into dos and os2 sections?

  22. 2. If one is possible, can os2 run applications located on the dos partition?

  24. 3. Since we have a registered copy of win 3.1, are we eligible for a special
  25. upgrade price to os2?
