  15.     I have just replaced my ide drive with a SCSI drive using
  16. Adaptec 1452B. When I tried to reinstall OS/2 on the new drive, it
  17. had problem reading disk #9 till I pressed retry several times. Once
  18. it was installed, everything seemed to be fine except when I tried
  19. to read, copy from, format drive a: when I performed other tasks in the
  20. foreground. Error message would come up to inform me that there was
  21. a problem with the drive a: response. Now if I do copy from a: in the
  22. foreground, everything is fine. And the overall response under multitasking
  23. seems to me slower than when I had an IDE drive.

  25.     Does anyone know if OS/2 2.0 has a problem with Adaptec 1452B
  26. with Seagate ST41200N SCSI hard drive, or the floppy controller on the
  27. Adaptec ? I have an ISA 486-50 with AMI bios. Everyting works fine
  28. like before except the problems I mentioned above.
