  12. Someone recently requested a cheap set of utilities which would allow
  13. for more "automatic" system performance optimization, particularly
  14. with DOS apps.

  16. Well, I picked up the latest issue of OS/2 Monthly, and, wouldn't you
  17. know it, such a beast exists.  It is called Performance 2.0 for OS/2
  18. 2.0, and it is sold by Clear & Simple Inc., P.O. Box 130, W. Simsbury,
  19. CT, 06092.  The price is a low $17.45 including shipping.  They can be
  20. reached by telephone at 203-658-1204.

  22. The product is described as a 50-page booklet with 15+ software
  23. objects.  These objects let you tune the system "with the click of a
  24. mouse," while the booklet "explains to all users the inside track to
  25. optimizing OS/2 2.0."  "Clarity & Simplicity guaranteed!" they say.

  27. Note that this optimization suite is said to require 8 MB of hard disk
  28. space.  Interesting.
