  12. I just installed RCS 5.6, and have got it pretty much working, except that 
  13. when I ran RLOG on a file that I produced using RCS 5.5 under MSDOS, it 
  14. complained:

  17. rlog aborted

  19. The same happened when I tried to check out the first version of the file 
  20. using co. Since the DOS version reports no problem here, I'm a little 
  21. confused about what's going on. Here is the start of the relevant section of 
  22. the RCS file:
