- Actually, this will not solve the problem of having *IF* some other
- program already has *.doc associated with it. The first program
- associated with a particular extension will become the default for
- that extension. To rectify the problem, eliminate all asscociations
- for all programs *EXCEPT* wordperfect. Wordperfect then becomes the
- default for *.doc. You may then add the *.doc association back on to
- the other programs and Wordperfect will remain the default.

- I know this method is a pain, especially if you have many associations
- for a particular extension, but I have found no easier way, (although
- that does not mean it doesn't exist :). I do think this could be
- added to make the WPS more user friendly.
