- Hello out there,
-
- I have had OS/2 installed for about 3 weeks now and love it, the only thing
- that I have a question on is: How do you recover from "lock ups" and is it
- possible. For instance:
-
- The other day I started a DOS app (I had just modified the DOS properties) and
- as OS/2 was starting up the DOS session, that window just locked. Nothing would
- work (Mouse input dead, and Ctr-ESC and Alt-ESC useless).
- Although, this lockup was different from others(where it appeared that
- everything was toast): I had PMEYES and PULSE running and both of those
- processes seemed to still be running. Someone told
- me that it might be the WPS locking up and that OS/2 was still technically
- running. So HOW DO YOU 'RESTART' WPS so that CTR+ALT+DEL doesn't have to be
- used?
-
- Any insight on this problem would be greatly appreciated.
