  11. For the longest time we have had problems with the TSENG ET4000 drivers
  12. and DOS windows.  When one opens a Full Screen DOS window sometimes the
  13. text you type is invisible and the scrolling doesn't work.  This will also
  14. happen if you change a windowed dos to full screen (sometimes).  I have
  15. one machine that never has this problem and others that do it often.  This
  16. problem has existed Since Windows 3.1 and the three versions I have gotten
  17. of the drives since then all have the problem.  You simply have to type
  18. mode co80 to get your screen back.  So it appears that the driver has just
  19. set the wrong video text mode.  This is a pain and in some cases when you
  20. start up certain applications you of course can't type mode co80.

  22. The one thing I have noticed is that the new version of TURBO-256 color
  23. drivers I got from the Orchid BBS DO NOT have this problem but their
  24. regular 256 & 16 color drivers DO.

  26. Has anyone else noticed this problem and/or found a solution??  I imagine
  27. there is some sort of setup difference between machines as I have some that
  28. DO seem to work correctly all the time.
