- For the longest time we have had problems with the TSENG ET4000 drivers
- and DOS windows. When one opens a Full Screen DOS window sometimes the
- text you type is invisible and the scrolling doesn't work. This will also
- happen if you change a windowed dos to full screen (sometimes). I have
- one machine that never has this problem and others that do it often. This
- problem has existed Since Windows 3.1 and the three versions I have gotten
- of the drives since then all have the problem. You simply have to type
- mode co80 to get your screen back. So it appears that the driver has just
- set the wrong video text mode. This is a pain and in some cases when you
- start up certain applications you of course can't type mode co80.
-
- The one thing I have noticed is that the new version of TURBO-256 color
- drivers I got from the Orchid BBS DO NOT have this problem but their
- regular 256 & 16 color drivers DO.
-
- Has anyone else noticed this problem and/or found a solution?? I imagine
- there is some sort of setup difference between machines as I have some that
- DO seem to work correctly all the time.
-
- Thanks in advance.
