  17. A very similar thing happened recently on a colleague's machine, and we
  18. were at a complete loss to explain it.  The problem turned out to be
  19. that EMM386 was eating about 5 Megs of swapfile space, for no apparent
  20. reason.  Replacing EMM386 with QEMM solved the problem, but I'm still at
  21. a complete loss as to why this would happen.
