  25. A likely problem is that you're running nostandard video drivers on
  26. your system.  Check to see what you've specified as the video type
  27. for Windows and call the vendor to get updated ones which are written
  28. for use with Windows 3.1.

  30. One common symptom is the "Incorrect system version" message whenever
  31. you attempt to run a non-Windows executable.
  32.  
  33. A workaround might be to change the display type in Windows setup back 
  34. to one which uses Microsoft-provided drivers (such as common VGA) 
  35. until you can get new OEM drivers for Windows 3.1.
