- I have a 486/33 with 8M and run DR DOS 6.0. I just got the C/C++ 7.0 & SDK
- from Microsoft. I'm looking for the optimal system setup.
-
- Am I better off using SMARTDrive 4.0 and 386Max (and Himem?) with
- my DR DOS system or the DR DOS EMM386 and SuperPCK programs?
-
- Will DR DOS load high if I use someone else's memory manager? When
- I try to use SMARTDrive with EMM386, it takes up ~40K of conventional
- memory which SuperPCK seems to load high.
-
- If I want to use C/C++ from DOS, I need the DPMI facilities of 386MAX,
- but will DR DOS load high?
