  15. I am posting this in case it turns out to helpful to someone else.
  16. My problem with the Ultrastor 12F controller was due to an out-of-date
  17. disk controller BIOS.

  19. We got a new 12F here at work, and I stole the ROMS from it to test in
  20. my controller (actually, my reason for doing this was to get the
  21. Ultrastor Windows 3.1 FastDisk 32-bit disk driver to work - no 32-bit
  22. access without a driver on the 12F if you have a disk >528 MB).

  24. In addition to giving me 32-bit disk access in Win 3.1, the I/O Error
  25. 0x00000069 that I was getting during the Windows NT install process
  26. went away, and now I'm up and running!
