  16. slaps your wrists and say that you have to have 12meg and aborts.  The
  17. dos2nt.bat doesn't check.  In 8 megs it probably runs a bit slow, but it
  18. goes. Also while the graphic install make you create a 20meg swap file the
  19. dos2nt way only wants 15megs - again there is probably a downside when you
  20. need a bit of virtual grey matter.

  26. The deal is that the NT graphic install only has drivers for those CDROMS
  27. listed in the Hardware Compatibilty List.  If you can otherwise mount your
  28. CD-ROM drive as a DOS volume then you are able to do the cheap and nasty
  29. batch file install. In this latter case you may need to edit the boot.ini
  30. file which appears in your root directory, particularly if you install on
  31. D:.  You will need to change \nt refs to \winnt refs and change c: to
  32. <whatever>:.  Note I copied all the files to a unix box and PC-NFS mounted
  33. them and ran the batch install that way. PS if you use an apple(wash my mouth
  34. out) to copy the files up in this way it may stuff the files names!!
