  15. I am running a DOS application which requests extended memory.   It
  16. terminates promptly with an error message :

  18. "0 KB of extended memory is available, but 706K is required."
  19.  
  20. I have been able to run  other DOS/Windows 3.X applications on the 
  21. machine without trouble.

  23. My machine config is:
  24.     July Release of NT on MIPS ARC R4000PC 
  25.     64Meg RAM.  (so I am not out of ram).

  32. So am I missing something something trivial?  Is the EMS support on
  33. NT similar to  that of  DOS shell in  Windows 3.1 (x86 PC)?
