  11.    I have installed Windows NT on the D: drive of an IBM PS/2 Model 70
  12. using the dos2nt utility. The CD was installed in an IBM RS/6000 cd-rom 
  13. device and mounted with the following command (actually via smit)
  14.  
  15.   mount -v'cdrfs' -r'' /dev/cd0 /nt
  16.  
  17.    The /nt directory was exported by the RS/6000 and mounted as Drive E:
  18. on the PS/2 via PC-NFS 4.0.
  19.  
  20.    The following commands were then issued from the PS/2
  21.  
  22.    cd e:\dos2nt
  23.    dos2nt d:
  24.  
  25.    This appeared to be succesful and installed the Windows NT into the
  26. d:\winnt and d:\mstools. I then performed the steps 3-6 outlined in 
  27. Section 2.2 (Alternate Installation - DOS2NT) of the July 1992 hardcopy 
  28. release notes modifying the registry.ini, boot.ini, hal.dll and 
  29. d:\winnt\system\config\system to conform to the above setup.

  31.    Step 7 (Create Registry) states to reboot the system, when I do I get
  32. the following error message

  34.    BOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR
  35.    Please insert another disk
  36.  
  37.    The appendix of the release notes does not mention this problem, I am 
  38. able to boot into dos after booting from an MS-DOS floppy and issuing the
  39. command 'sys c' which replaces the Flexboot with the MS-DOS boot sector.

  42.    Anyone have a work around or a solution for this problem ?
