  19. Thanks.  Someone else suggested that After-Dark's AD-DOS had known
  20. conflicts with PWB.  So I disabled it and, sure enough, PWB runs without
  21. a hitch.  So, since researching this problem, I acquired patches to 
  22. C/C++ 7.0, 386MAX, and now also have been told that there is a
  23. patched After-Dark.  This almost shames me to be a programmer.
