- We're trying to decide between Microsoft and Borland compilers
- as a standard compiler for building our products. We will use
- both compilers during development - the question is which one
- to use to generate the final .EXE.
-
- Our products (real-time financial market analysis) need to run
- for months at a time, collecting data and analysing it at
- high rates. Thus our primary concerns are the stability of the
- generated code, and its performance.
-
- Does anybody have any feedback on which compiler produces
- more reliable code? And which produces faster code?
-
- (Obviously, both of these compilers are very reliable,
- but given that we usually end up finding problems with the
- operating system or hardware we would like to minimize problems).
-
- Thanks,
