- If you are acquainted with QuickBasic, the syntax is very similar.
- However, the displays themselves are designed much like one would do
- in a draw program as objects. Clicking on an object in design mode
- resents you with a default set of events to hook your explicit
- programming into.

- It's hard to describe to you, but much easier to do than C++.
- Probably the easiest way to program in Windows there is. But the
- resulting program can be much slower than a C++ program, nor does
- VisualBasic in itself have the versitility of C++. There are those
- who use it as a front end generator to DLLs that do the real work,
- but programmed in more powerful languages than VisualBasic itself.
