- I'm trying to get a Visual Basic application to talk to a DLL,
- with a conspicuous lack of success.
-
- The original version of the DLL was written using Zortech C++,
- which I gather gets its start-up code wrong. However, re-compiling
- it using Microsoft C7 doesn't seem to have solved the problem,
- and I'm beginning to suspect flawed understanding :-)
-
- The perplexing thing is that the application works fine when
- it's run from within the VB environment. When I "Make .EXE",
- and run it, however, I get a dialogue box saying "Error in loading
- DLL."
-
- I *know* it must be possible, as there are demonstration programs
- out there which run with their own DLLs. If anyone's got any good
- ideas - preferably with source code they could let me have to see
- where I'm going wrong - I'd be grateful.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
