- The answer to this FAQ is to check the Kermit distribution from
- Columbia (watsun.cc.columbia.edu). However, it's not clear from just
- looking at the kermit distribution, which covers every computer known
- to man, where to find this little gem.
-
-
- I have to agree that this answer doesn't seem very helpful. I checked out
- the files on watsun.cc.columbia.edu and the kermit listed as a ms-windows
- kermit was actually just an ms-dos kermit. This makes this FAQ answer
- less than useful in two ways: first any given application (in windows or dos)
- can switch the ctrl and caps-lock key, and there are existing tsr's
- that switch ctrl and caps-lock for all ms-dos applications.
-
- What I'd really like to find is a way to switch it for all
- *windows* applications. And just to be greedy I'd like to know
- how to do with for Windows NT as well. I suspect that one answer is
- setting up some global message filter (to translate the WM_KEYDOWN message).
