  22. What you don't say is that it's as buggy as hell. Half the time is bombs out
  23. with a (what used to be called) UAE. I get all sorts of weird behaviours
  24. (e.g. not being able to save or load files: I had to cut my drawing to the
  25. clipboard as WMF, quit and restart, save the clipboard to a file, then
  26. import it using the WMF filter). I've heard on the net that there is a new
  27. version of 3.0. If you buy Corel make sure to get this. And there's no point
  28. trying to mail them: my e-mail to support@corel.ca is "pending" (uucp
  29. politely informed me that it would try for another few days to deliver the
  30. mail). I'm _supposed_ to receive a free upgrade. Have I? You guess.

  32. Now, gripe over. CorelDraw 3.0 is a neat package. The video helps a lot. The
  33. CD ROM is great. There isn't another drawing package on the market to touch
  34. it. Assuming that the latest release fixes the bugs (and fixes some really
  35. _really_ annoying user-interface irritants like the way the text roll-up
  36. doesn't seem to persist the settings properly) I would definitely vouch for
  37. its suitability.
