- Because it is written mostly in C, the operating system can be compiled
- on just about any system, including the Mac! I understand that there
- are one or two self-contained modules which are hardware-dependent,
- though, and would have to be rewritten in the native assembly of the
- new platform. As always, I welcome corrections to my marginally-informed
- opinions. =)
