- I'm experiencing the following problem when I shell out of Windows to DOS:
-
- I can approximately 10-15 DOS commands and then the characters stop echoing
- to the terminal. The system in fact still responds to the commands I'm
- typing, I just can't see what I'm typing. Eventually, the system hangs,
- and I have to give the three-finger salute to abort.
-
- Any ideas what's causing this? Am I actually running out of memory?
-
- This is configuration:
-
- 486/33 Mhz
- 4MG memory
- permanent swap drive
- Stacker running
- 32-bit fast disk enabled
