  11. This may be a FAQ, but here it goes:

  13. One of my DOS graphics programs (FastTrack) loads and
  14. runs extremely slowly in a DOS window in Win 3.1
  15. (Compaq 386/25, 9MB, 387, 110MB, VGA). I do not think
  16. it uses XMS or EMS, but it does a lot of disk I/O.
  17. What are the best tricks to try to speed it up, 
  18. other than to buy a faster machine?
  19. I am already using Smartdrive 1/0.5 MB, nothing else is
  20. running, and have a foreground priority value set to 150/10.
