- I'd like to add my complaints about Stanford Graphics. The program
- has a really nice-looking advertisement, and it makes beautiful
- output. That's it. It violates most of the rules of Windows
- application design (at least if you believe there ARE rules to Windows
- programming), is terribly SLOW, crashes ALL THE TIME, and has a
- useless manual.
- Question--does the Origin package recommended earlier in this news
- thread do 3-D plots (like wireframes, contours, etc.)? That's
- what I use Stanford for at the moment, and my only alternative
- is to put the data in Wingz and sort-of graph it (albeit about a
- BILLION times faster!) there.
