- I recently purchased the hDC Power Launcher/fileApps package. I haven't
- been able to install fileApps.

- When I tried to install the 3-1/2" floppy version, I got a general
- protection error on the second disk. When I tried to intall the 5-1/4"
- version, I got a "Not enough memory to run application" message on the
- first disk.

- Has anyone else had similar problems?

- I called hDC technical support. The woman I spoke to suggested that I
- remove QEMM while I did the installation, because it was sometimes flaky.
- I tried that, and had the same problems with no memory managers, with
- HIMEM.SYS along, and with HIMEM.SYS + EMM386.SYS. The woman said second
- level support would call me back.

- That was Wednesday. I hadn't heard anything by Friday, so I called back
- again. No technicians were available, but they again said that someone
- would call me back. They hadn't by the time I left Friday afternoon. I
- have voicemail, so I don't think they just missed me.

- Is this typical of hDC tech support - first level doesn't know and second
- level doesn't call back?
