  23. I found version 2.7 in the uploads directory of the CICA mirror at monash
  24. university. I presume that it will still be in the uploads directory at CICA.

  26. However, if you use POPmail you probably should consider sticking with v2.6.

  28. The mailer has been redesigned and is potentially much better. However, it
  29. has one serious flaw.

  31. The 2.7 mailer hangs if the file you are mailing does not end with a CR,
  32. i.e if you don't press <RETURN> after the last line of your message.

  34. It is easy to forget and if you forget, you have to reboot your PC and
  35. kill the Pop3 daemon on your mail host in order to recover.

  37. They have fixed the problem with terminal type when telnetting to a VAX.
  38. It now uses VT220 if you specify it.

  40. Pity, the keyboard mapping bug has not been fixed. You can assign a 40 char
  41. string to a key, and all the chars are saved in the mapping file.
  42. However, the next time you start QVTNET, only 20 chars are read from the
  43. mapping file, thus stuffing the key mapping.

  45. Note 62. in the release notes indicates that the size limit is 40 chars.
  46. Surely a simple bug to fix.
