  11. I used the Central Point Backup for Windows (version 1.1 or 7.1, depending
  12. on where you read the documentation) that comes with my new PC Tools 7.1
  13. over this weekend, and while it "did the job", and I could restore files, it
  14. was rather flaky in some aspects of the interface.

  16. Anyway, I popped into the Central Point BBS the other night, and found out
  17. that a version 7.2 is now out, specifically built to run with Windows 3.1.
  18. It's definitely a new version for Windows -- instead of altering the
  19. SYSTEM.INI file to use vsd.386, they now appear to use (I believe) a VXD
  20. module instead.

  22. Called Central Point up today; as one would expect, they can't do anything
  23. until my registration form arrives, and then it'll cost me $26 to upgrade.
