- The shell is larger than command.com, but the memory
- management has gotten to be very good, particularly under
- DOS 5.0. I get ~620K free on a 486 with a mouse driver, disk
- cache, and ansi driver--using DOS 5, QEMM, and the MKS
- shell. Most of the shell resides in upper memory and is
- swapped out on demand.

- I've used the Toolkit for ~4 years. It has some bugs, and
- MKS is honest and helpful, though less than blazingly fast
- in correcting problems that seem to be fairly simple. I have
- no other connection except as an individual, very satisfied
- user.
