- I tried this, after getting the shiftfix (I forgot the propper name
- of the file) off oak.oakland.edu. IA didn't quite fix the problem,
- (which usually occurred in WP 5.1, but remained once I exited WP),
- If you use WP (which has a history of sticking shift keys), you can
- load it with /nc or /nk switches, one of which interferes with the ALT
- activation of the pull down menus, the other has worked fine for me.

- Question though: Can the use of the alt key in WP5.1 be turned into
- an f11 or f12 key, I run under Desqview, and hitting ALT in WP5.1
- to activate the pull down menus simulataneously pops me out of the WP
- window. Having the pull downs around is nice, seeing as it's the only
- way to save a document if the shift key sticks.
