- You will have to boot from floppy and edit your (d)config.sys file on
- drive C:. You need a line like, "SHELL=D:\COMMAND.COM /P." That should
- tell it to load command.com from logical drive D: after the config.sys is
- done being processed. If that doesn't work, copy the sstor driver to
- a bootable floppy and a device= line on the floppy's config.sys. Now
- you should be able to read your hard drive (though the drives won't be
- swapped). Simply copy command.com to what is normally drive C: and
- you won't have any more problems.

- Personally, I would recommend putting command.com in the root directory of
- drive C: (logical drive C:, that is) even if you don't think you need it.
- You never know when some program will assume that it's there and crash when
- you least expect it to.
