  26. You will have to boot from floppy and edit your (d)config.sys file on
  27. drive C:.  You need a line like, "SHELL=D:\COMMAND.COM /P."  That should
  28. tell it to load command.com from logical drive D: after the config.sys is
  29. done being processed.  If that doesn't work, copy the sstor driver to
  30. a bootable floppy and a device= line on the floppy's config.sys.  Now
  31. you should be able to read your hard drive (though the drives won't be
  32. swapped).  Simply copy command.com to what is normally drive C: and
  33. you won't have any more problems.

  35. Personally, I would recommend putting command.com in the root directory of
  36. drive C: (logical drive C:, that is) even if you don't think you need it.
  37. You never know when some program will assume that it's there and crash when
  38. you least expect it to.
