I am presently involved in a little volunteer work to try and help
a physically handicapped person gain a little access to the outside
world through the use of a PC and a modem.  The problem I've run
into is trying to locate suppliers and/or manufacturers for the
specialized input devices that would be required.  Since this
particular person is paralyzed from the neck down with no head
momement and requires a respirator tube in his mouth, the possible
solutions have become very limited.  One possible solution would be
a limited form of voice recognition interface to replace the
keyboard.  This would at least allow BBS access and such things as
Prodigy.  If anyone has any information on possible sources of PC
interfaces for the handicapped and/or voice recognition
alternatives it would be greatly appreciated !!
