  13. What are the obstacles to installing stuff from GNU under MINIX? For example,
  14. if I obtain the GNU C Compiler from prep.ai.mit.edu and download it to
  15. a PC running minix, will it compile under the residentminix C compiler
  16. and will it work right? DItto for all the other GNU stuff.

  18. There is other free software that I would also be interested in
  19. installing, such as the group theory package GAP. Has anyone tried to
  20. install in under minix?
