  15. Welp.. i had minix u p and running ver 1.5
  16. and i went to recompile the kernel , etc to get ps to work
  17. properly and my system crashed..

  19. since then  i get a ...

  23.     make kernel
  24.  
  25.     make:don't know how to make klib.x
  26.  
  27. and then i kept on getting a

  29.     kernel panic  exception in kernel, mm or ff
  30.      hit any key to reboot

  32. and i reinstalled minix again.. repartitioned my hard drive..
  33. and used my untouched minix install disks..
  34.  
  35. and it said

  37.    invalid opcode
  38.     process # -8 , pc = 0x0007:0x00000F0F
  39.  
  40. i know i didn't corrupt my install disks in any way?
  41. this is too strange....

  43.         any ideas?
  44. (using a 286 running with 5 megs of memory.. and a 71 meg hd)
